We charge a $2000 non-refundable deposit. This allows us to confirm that no other Battle Creek activities interfere with your day. The outstanding amount will be due one week before the wedding. We also require a $1,000 damage deposit that will be returned post wedding.

Our Bridal Loft is a 1,500 sqft spacious private retreat designed for relaxing, getting ready, enjoying refreshments, and spending meaningful time with your closest friends before the ceremony. It is the perfect space to go back to mid day to fix makeup/hair or take a minute to pause.

Whether it’s your caterer, photographer, florist, DJ, or planner, you’re free to build the team that’s right for you. The Eden Row – Venue Policies & Rental Terms
These policies are designed to ensure the safety of all guests, protect the venue, and provide a smooth wedding experience. Failure to comply with these policies may result in additional charges, removal from the property, or termination of the event without refund.
Booking & Payment
A signed Rental Agreement and non-refundable booking retainer are required to reserve your wedding date.
Final payment is due by the date specified in your Rental Agreement.
Cancellations, postponements, and date changes are subject to the terms outlined in the Rental Agreement.
Wedding dates are not reserved until the Rental Agreement has been signed and the required payment has been received.
Wedding Coordinator
Every wedding must have a designated day-of coordinator approved by The Eden Row.
Venue staff are responsible for venue operations and property management only and are not responsible for directing vendors, managing the event timeline, coordinating the ceremony or reception, or supervising guests.
Guest Capacity
A final guest count must be submitted by the deadline outlined in the Rental Agreement.
The maximum occupancy of the venue may not be exceeded at any time.
Additional guests beyond the agreed capacity may result in additional fees or refusal of entry.
Alcohol Service
All alcohol must be supplied and served by The Eden Row or an approved licensed bar service.
Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
The Eden Row reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest.
Alcohol service will conclude at the designated time outlined by the venue.
Decorations
No nails, screws, staples, tacks, glue, tape, or other fasteners that may damage the venue are permitted.
No confetti, glitter, rice, artificial flower petals, or similar materials may be used unless approved in writing.
Nothing may be attached to walls, ceilings, windows, beams, greenhouse framing, or other venue structures without prior written approval.
Venue furniture may not be moved without staff approval.
Fire & Candle Policy
Fireworks, sparklers, sky lanterns, smoke bombs, pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, and any open-flame special effects are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
Candles are permitted only when fully enclosed in glass or another non-combustible container that prevents accidental contact with the flame.
Open-flame taper candles, pillar candles without enclosures, floating candles, torches, and similar items are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by The Eden Row.
Battery-operated (LED) candles are encouraged.
Any unauthorized fire or flame may be extinguished or removed immediately and may result in termination of the event if guest safety is compromised.
Setup & Cleanup
Venue access begins only at the contracted time.
All décor, gifts, personal belongings, rental items, and vendor equipment must be removed by the agreed departure time unless otherwise arranged.
Items left on the property for more than 48 hours may be disposed of or donated.
Additional cleaning or repairs resulting from the event may be charged to the renter.
Vendors
All vendors must comply with venue policies.
Vendors may be required to provide proof of insurance upon request.
The Eden Row reserves the right to refuse access to vendors whose conduct creates an unsafe condition or who fail to comply with venue policies.
Property Damage
The renter is responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their guests, vendors, or invitees.
Costs associated with repair or replacement of damaged property will be billed to the renter.
Children
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the safety and behaviour of children attending the event.
Outdoor Areas
Outdoor ceremonies and activities are subject to weather conditions.
The Eden Row cannot guarantee weather conditions or outdoor accessibility.
Guests use outdoor areas at their own risk, including uneven terrain, insects, wildlife, and natural hazards.
Greenhouse
The greenhouse contains plenty of glass and structural elements requiring special care.
Guests may not lean on, climb, sit on, or attach decorations to greenhouse glass or framing.
Damage to the greenhouse caused by the renter, guests, or vendors will be the responsibility of the renter.
Recreational Amenities
Mini golf, lawn games, and other recreational amenities are used at each guest’s own risk.
Damaged or lost equipment resulting from misuse may be charged to the renter.
Parking
Guests park vehicles at their own risk.
The Eden Row is not responsible for theft, damage, or loss involving vehicles or personal property.
Photography & Marketing
The Eden Row reserves the right to use photographs or videos of the venue and event for promotional purposes, provided individuals are not the primary subject of the image, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Music & Event Timing
Music and amplified sound must comply with venue policies and applicable municipal bylaws.
Music, bar service, and guest departure must conclude at the times outlined in the Rental Agreement.
Events extending beyond the contracted rental period may be subject to overtime fees where permitted.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
All cigarette butts and related waste must be disposed of in the provided receptacles.
Restricted Areas
Guests are prohibited from entering maintenance buildings, workshops, storage areas, paintball fields, mechanical rooms, or any staff-only areas unless authorized by venue staff.
Drones
Drone photography or videography is permitted only with prior written approval from The Eden Row and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Animals
Only service animals, or animals approved in writing by The Eden Row, are permitted on the property.
Lost & Found
The Eden Row is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Force Majeure
The Eden Row shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, utility failures, government orders, natural disasters, or other emergencies.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
Guests enter and use the property at their own risk.
The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Eden Row, its owners, employees, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from the actions or negligence of the renter, guests, or vendors, except where caused by the negligence of The Eden Row.
Right to Terminate
The Eden Row reserves the right to suspend or terminate any event without refund where illegal activity, violence, dangerous intoxication, unauthorized alcohol, unauthorized fire or flames, significant property damage, or repeated violations of these policies create a safety risk or threaten the venue, staff, or guests.
